INTRODUCTION
Industrial bitumen is a dark, low volatile petroleum residue modified by the oxidation process. Its consistency ranges from highly to solid. Besviscous ides being waterproof, elastic and adhesive, bitumen is corrosion-proof and acid-alkali resistant as well.  It also makes an efficient electrical insulator, because it has excellent dielectric strength. Bitumen is a safe and inexpensive material, which has multiple uses in the industry and a wide range of applications.

Buildings/floors: 
damp proofing and waterproofing; acid-alkali resistant flooring; conductive & sparkless flooring.
Buildings/roofing: 
Manufacture of roofing felts, adhesives, primers, damp proofing coating compositions, liquid roof coatings, plastic cements and hot carriage roofing compounds.
Hydraulics: 
Canal lining, embankment, hydraulic structure and dam lining protection: sand dune  stabilization.
Roads: 
Roads construction and maintenance.
Industrial: 
Lamination, manufacture of caulking compounds, joint fillers, rubber extenders, Plasticizers, hot neck grease and battery sealing compounds.

SSTP Bitumen is usually packed in 50 Kg. & 150 kg steel drums and 25 kg paper packs.
